Richard Gamble’s call to build the ‘Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer’
In 2018 I was in conference centre in Harrogate, England and listening to a man called Richard
Gamble. Richard was sharing about a vision he had been given by the Lord, to build a national
landmark demonstrating what Jesus has done for the world.
Face to Face with God

We are in the book of Exodus this morning. A book of the Bible which has as one of its main themes – the presence of God. Throughout Exodus we see God revealing his presence to his people. God reveals himself to Moses in the midst of a bush that was burning, and yet not being burnt up.

In recent years there have been a number of well publicised “mis-selling” scandals. People have been mis-sold payment protection on loans, car manufacturers have been discovered mis-selling cars with false emissions claims, and many others.

17 Aug 2025
The Scripture reading from Matthew is one that many of us are very
familiar with – the miracle of the 5,000 being fed with just a tiny amountof food which, in Jesus’ hands, was more than enough.
Sermon on the Mount- storing treasures in heaven
3 Aug 2025
Over the past several months – in fact since last last year, we have been studying Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Why? Because the Sermon on the Mount is Jesus’ summary of how to live as his disciples. These three chapters in Matthew’s gospel are a very practical series of instructions to people who are following Jesus or who want to follow Jesus, telling them, telling us how to do it.
United we stand

I don’t know if have ever visited our church on a Sunday and while you were in the garden or out in the street, you heard a low sounding rumble in the background. Maybe you assumed it was some sort of engine on the main road.
God’s original design for
his church

I had to share this for those of you who sometimes are struggling to understand the Scottish accents. In the 13th century, so that’s the 1200s, the Vikings had the same problem! An old saga from Iceland says; ‘Scotland is full of dangerous natives, who speak an incomprehensible language, and the weather is awful.’
Understanding the gift of Prophecy
27 April 2025
Many of us are discovering and experiencing the gift of prophecy for the first time with the visit of Lora Beth and Peter to us a couple of weeks ago. Many of us received prophetic messages which relate to what God is calling us into, who God has made us to be, messages related to our gifting, some of what we heard from Lora Beth and Peter was related to our past. It was a new experience for most of us and quite exciting and I think a bit surprising.
The Meaning of Easter
20 April 2025
The resurrection of Christ from the grave is the central belief of the Christian religion. If a person comes to believe that Jesus really was raised from the dead, then logically that person must then accept that everything else the Bible says about Jesus is true.

The second half of the Lord’s prayer and fasting
23 Mar 2025
I don’t imagine I will ever have the chance, but if I ever was invited to Buckingham palace to talk with the King, the very first concern I would have would be to get hold of someone who could tell me how to behave and what to say.
Sermon on giving, praying and the Lords Prayer
23 Feb 2025
The Christian religion can be summarised in this way. God, the Creator of the universe, is a Father. And He has always had one child, a Son, who He loves, but He wanted more children to love, so He sent his Son, Jesus, to Earth with an invitation to all of humanity who He had made, come and be adopted into my Father’s family.
